Paradise Family Healthcare is a family and internal medicine practice in a small retirement community in Venice, Florida on the Gulf Coast. The majority of our patients are seniors, but we also treat patients from 12 and up.

To deliver the best possible healthcare:

  • We stay accessible to our patients so we can address their concerns and answer their questions. We provide same day appointments when possible.
  • We emphasize prevention and recommend annual preventative exams to screen for things like diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. It's easier to maintain good health than to restore it.
  • We perform cancer screening including pap and breast exams, colorectal exams, and skin exams to find cancers early so they can be cured.
  • We prevent a variety of illnesses with vaccinations against influenza, pneumonia, hepatitis and shingles.
  • We stress diet and exercise to promote health and fitness.
  • We recognize the tremendous burden obesity places on our patients and society. That's why we created a highly effective weight loss program that produces results and improves health.
  • We coordinate care with specialists when needed.
  • We use modern information technology to improve your care and have had fully electronic medical records since 2003.
  • We continuously train in the latest medical findings and use the best medical technology.

Meet Our Providers

Pamela Miller, DO

Pamela Miller, DO

Dr. Pamela Miller is board certified by the Board of Internal Medicine since 2005. She graduated from Oklahoma State University – college of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002, completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ in 2005.

Dr. Miller was born on a ranch in South Dakota and moved back to South Dakota to practice for many years. She and her husband were stationed in Florida while her husband was in the Navy and they moved back to Florida in 2013.

She loves to provide quality care and preventative measures to her patients to maximize their current state of health. Dr. Miller has specific interests in diabetic and hypertensive management, as well as woman’s health conditions.

Michael Ciccarone, APRN

Michael Ciccarone was born and raised in Florida before attending college in Johnson City, TN where he resided for 13 years. He initially graduated from Milligan College with his Bachelor of Science ln Biology before deciding to enter the field of nursing. Michael graduated Suma Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University's accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in 2017. He began his work as a registered nurse in the cardiac step down unit in Johnson City where he gained experience caring for critically ill patients.

As he transitioned out of the hospital and into outpatient urgent care medicine, Michael realized his desire to continue his education and provide a higher level of care for his patients. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he graduated with honors from the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, the highest level of formal nursing education. In 2021, Michael went on to get board certified in Family Nurse Practitioning with the ANCC and recently obtained his autonomous advanced practice license in the state of Florida allowing him to practice medicine without the supervision of a physician.

Michael is passionate about providing his patients with the most up to date evidence based care, as well as equipping his patients with the knowledge to make informed medical decisions tailored to their personal health goals.
