What Our Patients Say
Opened during the Covid-19 crisis! Able to get a same day appointment and refills via telehealth. In person visits were also available if necessary. Very impressed.
Sylvie Dobey
Professional, caring and knowledgeable. If Doc Miller or PA Vanessa think you need a Specialist, they hook you up right away. The staff is very friendly and courteous and if your health issues are emergent you are worked into the schedule same or next day. Thursday’s they have late hours.

Everyone at this office is wonderful, I went in for a check up and said my ears seemed blocked turns out I was in need of ear wax removal. I was flying out 2 days later and so they last minute made a way for me to come back the following morning to get it flushed out! wow I am so glad I got sorted out before my flight. this is the best care I have received in forever. thank you Paradise Family Healthcare you are the best always!

FAQ
We accept CIGNA, Humana, Medicare. Other insurances may or may not provide coverage. If you’re not sure, call our front desk and they can let you know.
We accept cash, check or credit card and offer a discounted same-day rate for our cash pay patients. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact our office so we may explore other options.
The Covid-19 pandemic has revealed a major flaw in our health system. Minorities and poor patients are being admitted to hospitals and dying from Covid-19 at much higher rates. Mostly, this is thought to be from not getting care for chronic medical conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease, diabetes and hypertension. Although we are not a public health department or a federally qualified clinic, we do have some resources to apply to this problem.
First, we can waive the copay for disabled patients that are on Medicare and/or Medicaid, after filling out a financial qualification form. We have always had this policy but have not publicized it much.
Second, we do know the local health insurance market, and can refer patients on Medicare and sometimes Medicaid to Medicare Advantage plans that often waive premium payments and cover copays for primary care.
Third, we do offer a substantial discount for patients without insurance who pay at the time of service. We also know how to get lab tests and imaging for less from our local labs and radiology facilities, though this is also with payment at the time of service.
Fourth, our staff is experienced and knowledgeable about local health resources, we know the locations and contact information for the local county health department, local rehabilitation facilities, addiction treatment resources, and food and shelter resources.
Finally, our clinic is a Medical Home, and we treat all our patients like family regardless of their race, background, or financial status.
Paradise Family Healthcare is open and we offer telehealth visits, which are a preferred method of visits during this COVID-19 crisis. These are usually HIPAA compliant video visits covered by your insurance, allowing us to stay connected through computers, smartphones and tablets while keeping you safe.
Although we attempt to use HIPPA compliant telehealth solutions, we may need to use alternatives, such as Zoom, Google Duo, Facetime, or others that do not guarantee HIPPA level privacy protections.
If you need to be seen in-person at the clinic, we are using the following measures to make your visit as safe as possible:
Please feel free to call our office, no issue is too small. We are in this together as a community. If we are not able to answer, leave a message, your call will be returned.

Dr. Kevin Miller has reviewed the most popular weight loss medications on the market, but what he doesn’t like are the side effects – which are all dose-related. Therefore, Paradise Family Healthcare works with a local pharmacy to custom-formulate your medication at lower doses than what are normally used ... helping to avoid many of the dose-related side effects.
The weight loss program at Paradise Family Healthcare is designed for individuals with a BMI (body mass index) of 28 or more.
